This year , as we have been celebrating 40 years of Peter Jackson the Jeweller, we thought it was a perfect time to look back through the archives and reflect on how far we have come and how much has changed.
For those of you that remember when we used to print company magazines – this one’s for you!
We found an article from 2007 when the company was celebrating 25 years in business.
Peter’s daughter Ruby was asked about her favourite jewellery item and we just couldn’t resist a follow up article with her now, 16 Years later.
What have you selected?
“I’ve chosen a Canadian Arctic diamond pendant and a Ruby and Diamond ring (I just couldn’t choose between the two!)”
What makes these items so special?
“Being half Canadian and now living in Canada, I chose this Canadian Arctic diamond because it feels close to home (and it’s incredibly beautiful!)
I chose the Ruby because my name is Ruby so it seemed rude not to! 😊
Also, the Ruby is incredibly significant this year as my Dad’s company is celebrating its 40th Anniversary so it seemed like the perfect choice!”
A lot of time has passed since your first article feature, tell us what you’re doing now!
“I am 20 years old and am going into my third year of university studying business and psychology. I still miss England at times but I’m loving every minute of it!”
What are your thoughts on your Dad celebrating 40 years in business?
“I am so proud of my dad and the dedication he gives to both his business and his family. He set the bar very high for work ethic in our family and I thank him for that and all that he does for me”.
In her first article, Ruby said that she hoped that Santa would surprise her………who knows, perhaps this year he will!
