If you are looking for a watch that captures the essence of traditional Swiss craftsmanship, yet is still modern and versatile, then Raymond Weil watches are guaranteed to please even the most established watch collectors.

The Raymond Weil story began in 1976, when the Swiss watch maker felt that the industry was in crisis. His unique vision of what Swiss watchmaking should be has bought an entirely new dimension to the industry. Mr Weil’s creations immediately grew in popularity, as he soon became an international phenomenon, praised by watch enthusiasts globally, making him one of the flagships of the Swiss watchmaking industry.

Since the brands formation, RAYMOND WEIL has always been inspired by various musical influences, and this was reflected in collection names as early as 1983. The hugely popular Amadeus collection was named after the famous classical Austrian composer, Mozart. His music-inspired collection names have now become a distinctive feature of the brand’s personality, with Fidelio, Traviata and Saxo released over the years. In 2013, music became more important for the brand as they entered into several music partnerships and events. RAYMOND WEIL have worked closely with iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and major series’ and events such as Live from the Artists Den, VH1 Save the Music Foundation and the BRIT awards.

RAYMOND WEIL experienced rapid growth with the launch of the Parsifal collection. According to the brand itself, “it featured an original blend of complications, noble materials, meticulous finish and innovative designs”. In 2010, this iconic collection was recreated to mark its 20 year anniversary, showing RAYMOND WEIL’s deep attachment to its roots. The collection beautiful presented this, whilst refining the key design elements.

Two collections, the Tango and Tradition, were both massively well received internationally, with their state-of-the-art design, which remained classically elegant, embodying their watchmaking heritage. Both of these collections are available to purchase at Peter Jackson, both online and in store.

In 1999 the company embraced the latest technological innovations and took complete control of the watch-design process. A dedicated Research & Development department was introduced, and has since been responsible for countless creations exclusive to RAYMOND WEIL, such as the Two Time Zones complication and the patented interchangeable bracelet system on ladies’ collection Shine. In the years to come, the fully mechanical Don Giovanni Così Grande collection was released solidifying RAYMOND WEIL’s watchmaking superiority and technological precision.

The Freelancer mechanical collection saw the introduction of two major innovations in the brand’s history: the introduction of the visible balance-wheel; and the creation of a mechanical range of ladies’ timepieces.
